I have tried the Samsung Galaxy Tab, iPad 2, and then bought the Acer Iconia W500. W500 is the best for Windows 8. Also it is convenient to use either with the dock or without the dock.
The main advantage is using all office software which is not possible on the former. Tweet@Rama works great for twitter. Weather app also works great and gives accurate information. Only application that will be fixed in the Beta version of Windows 8 is Socialite.
W500 also has advantages in hardware comparison. The tablet comes with a keyboard dock and the keyboard dock features a Ethernet port and 2 USB ports giving the tablet a functionality of laptop.
My rating for this tablet 9.5. Recommended for heavy office user.
