Windows phone 7 is a wonderful OS

I have just lived with my new HTC 7 Trophy and I am absolutely loving it. Overall, the experience is very good.

Interface
The live tiles are the main feature  of the interface. With the people tile, I can see all the social network updates in one place. Emailing all my contacts (personal or business) is a breeze with the unified contacts.

Pictures
Taking pictures is so fast, as I can take pictures even if the device is in sleep mode. Sharing pictures is also as easy as taking it.

Ringer
The cool feature on Windows Phone 7 OS is the ringer toggle. When the volume rocker button is pressed, a ring icon is displayed at the top panel of the screen. Clicking this icon puts the phone in vibrate mode.

Keyboard
The onscreen keyboard is a great improvement compared to Windows Mobile 6/6.5. I could type as fast as I could on my iPhone (which is traded for my HTC Trophy).

Voice Search
I have got accuracy of 98% whenever I used voice search. I have even tested the voice search feature in very noisy environment and was amazed by the perfection.

Games
With the integration of Xbox games, we can expect to see some high end games in the future, as hardware specifications improve.

With updates scheduled to be release in early 2011, Windows Phone 7 is a great OS that will definitely be a contender for the top spot.

There are lots of opportunities for developers as the marketplace for Windows Phone 7 is new and there is need for lots of applications like chat clients, blog clients, RSS readers, games etc.
