Marketplace to debut on WM6.5 devices first

In a couple of weeks, devices loaded with the WM6.5 OS will hit the store shelves around the world. Users will then be able to access the Marketplace to download thousands of Windows Mobile software. However, Windows Mobile 6.0 and Windows Mobile 6.1 users will have to wait a while more to utilize the Marketplace. This waiting period may give Microsoft some time to soft-launch the store and squash bugs before tens of millions try to access the store. Source HERE
